Our Story
Focal Point Church began in 1999, originally planted as Hunter’s Creek Community Church in the South Orlando/Kissimmee area. With just 25 people gathering weekly in prayer, the church grew steadily and experienced God’s miraculous provision—including 2.5 acres of land in a prime location being donated and an additional 5 acres purchased at a dramatically reduced cost. These blessings confirmed that God had called this church to impact the community for His purposes.
In [year], Focal Point merged with Family Life Church, uniting two growing congregations with one shared vision. Not long after, the State of Florida purchased the church’s existing building, providing the resources needed to finally begin construction on the land God had miraculously provided.
In [month, year], after years of prayer and preparation, Focal Point Church opened its new doors and celebrated its first service on this promised land. From that day forward, the church grew rapidly, with many lives transformed and families finding a spiritual home.
Over the years, Focal Point has continued to expand its reach, launching a Brazilian service in 2023 and remaining committed to raising up Difference Makers who advance God’s Kingdom. Today, Focal Point Church shines as a beacon of light in Central Florida, passionately pursuing God’s call to impact lives and transform communities.

Senior Pastor
Lead Pastor at Focal Point Church and Director of Reviving Nations. Pastor Mark is an author and is married to his wife, Becky Daniel, with three sons, Josh, Andrew, and Luke.

Helps lead the pastoral staff, and leads discipleship strategies at Focal Point Church. Married to Allyssa Daniel with two sons, Jesse and Ezra.
Kelly Sorenson
Women's & Outreach Pastor
Oversees Women’s discipleship at FPC as well as local outreach and prayer. Mother of Brianna, Alyssa, Chloe, and Rachel.
