Jesus said apart from Him, we can do nothing, but abiding in Him means bearing much fruit. In this message from John 15, we look at what it really means to stop striving and start abiding: trusting God as the source instead of trying to generate breakthrough, peace, and fruit on our own.
This week continues our series through the Gospel of John, where Pr Mark unpacks Jesus’ words to His disciples in the upper room, hours before the cross. The message walks through three things: Jesus as the true vine and source of everything we need, the Father as the gardener who prunes us not to punish but to prepare us for more fruit, and the fruit that results, both the internal fruit of character and the external fruit of changed lives around us.
